Online fax FAQ
Pricing, delivery confirmations, retention, and guides for the errands people actually fax for.
How much does it cost to send a fax online?
Faxette charges $5 on the US site (or €5 + VAT on the EU site) for up to 100 pages, then 10¢ / €0.10 per extra page. See pricing.
Do I need an account?
No. Enter an email for updates, upload your pages, pay, and we email you the status link.
When am I charged?
Your card is held when you pay and charged only after the receiving machine confirms delivery. If the fax cannot be sent, we release the hold. See how it works.
Do I get delivery confirmation?
Yes. The status page shows the result, and we email you when it is delivered or when it fails.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. Several files are combined into one fax.
How long do you keep my documents?
Guest fax files are deleted 48 hours after the final status. Delivery metadata is kept. More on the status page.
Can I send an international fax?
The US site sends to the US and Canada; the EU site sends to the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, Ukraine and the Isle of Man. Other countries are refused before you pay.
What if my fax fails?
You are not charged. Read why your fax failed for each reason and what to try next.
