Retry policy

We retry a fax when retrying can help, up to two more times over about 20 minutes (three tries in all). When it cannot help—such as a number that is not in service—we stop sooner. Either way, if the fax does not get through we email you and release the hold on your card, so you are not charged. Each failure is explained on why your fax failed.

Delivery success rate by month

Delivered means the receiving machine confirmed the fax, on the first try or after a retry. Faxes sent counts every fax we handed to the carrier, and does not count a card that was declined before we tried.

No completed sends yet. Rates appear here once we have delivery data.

Retention

Guest fax documents are deleted 2 days after the fax finishes. Deletion is automatic. If you need a copy of what you sent, save it before then. Delivery records (destination number, page count, time, result) are kept as your proof of transmission.
