Who operates Faxette
Faxette is operated by Sbergio BV, a Belgian private limited company. Enterprise number 0717.670.930. VAT BE0717.670.930. Registered office: Avenue des Tilleuls 2a, 1180 Uccle, Belgium.

The service
You upload one or more files. We turn them into one fax and send it to the fax number you give us. You pay for that fax. There is no subscription.
This site charges in US dollars and can fax numbers in the United States and Canada. Any other number is refused before you pay. We do not dial premium-rate numbers.
Delivered means the receiving machine confirmed the fax. That confirmation does not mean a person read it, or that an office accepted it as filed.
Price
The price is on the status page before you pay. A fax is $5 for up to 100 pages, then $0.10 for each extra page. The amount shown for your fax stays the amount for that fax if prices change later. Current rates are on the pricing page.
Payment
Checkout is run by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. The price is held on your card. We charge the card only after delivery is confirmed. If we cannot deliver the fax, we release the hold, and you are not charged for that fax.
While a fax has failed and can still be resent, the hold stays in place. You can resend it for 48 hours, to the same number or a corrected one, without a new charge. When that window ends and the fax is still not delivered, we release the hold.
We retry when another attempt can help, up to three attempts over about 20 minutes. A number that is not in service stops sooner.
Refunds and cancellation
Sending is not a subscription, so there is no plan to cancel. Before you pay, you can leave the fax. An unpaid fax is canceled after 24 hours, and its files are deleted.
After you pay, we start sending. If the fax is not delivered, the hold is released and you pay nothing for it. If the card was charged and the fax was not delivered, or the same fax was charged twice, email us and we refund that charge to the same card.
A delivered fax is complete, including when the number you entered was wrong and the machine still confirmed it. The fax number is on the status page before you pay. Check it there.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made at a distance. A fax has to leave as soon as you pay, and paying is your request that we start immediately. Once the fax is delivered, that withdrawal right ends for the send. If it is not delivered, you are not charged. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Your documents
You need the right to send the documents, and the right to send them to that fax number. Do not send unlawful content, and do not send to a number you are not allowed to contact.
A fax's files are deleted 48 hours after it finishes, or as soon as it's delivered if you turn on "Delete documents after delivery". Files you upload but never send are deleted after 2 hours. We keep the record of the send: fax number, page count, time, and result. Privacy covers the rest of what we store.
Your account
You don't need an account to send a fax. If you create one, keep your password to yourself. You can turn on two-factor authentication in Settings, or sign in with Google instead. You're responsible for faxes sent from your account.
You can delete your account in Settings at any time, except while a fax is being sent. Deleting it can't be undone.
When we refuse a fax
We can refuse or stop a fax that is unlawful, fraudulent, or to a country we do not cover. If that happens before delivery, we release the hold.
Liability
Lines are busy, machines run out of paper, and numbers are disconnected. We send the fax and charge you only when delivery is confirmed. We are not responsible for what the recipient does with a delivered fax, or for a deadline you miss because a fax could not be delivered. This does not limit liability the law does not allow us to limit.
Which law applies
Belgian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
Changes
We can update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. The terms in force when you pay apply to that fax.
