Why agencies ask for fax
Many offices still accept—and sometimes require—fax for forms and supporting documents. Fax gives the agency a dated transmission record and gives you proof you sent it.
Cover sheets and reference numbers
Include a cover sheet with your full name, the form or program name, and any case or reference number. Write that reference on every page when the agency asks for it.
Deadlines and proof
Send well before the cutoff. Faxette charges only after delivery is confirmed and emails a receipt with the delivery time—keep it as proof of submission.
