Online fax FAQ
Answers about sending a fax, pricing, delivery and your documents.
How much does it cost to send a fax online?
Faxette charges $5 on the US site (or €5 + VAT on the EU site) for up to 100 pages, then 10¢ / €0.10 per extra page. See pricing.
Do I need an account?
No. Add your files, enter the fax number and your email, then review your fax. We show the price before you pay and email you delivery updates.
When am I charged?
The amount is held on your card at checkout. You are charged only after the receiving machine confirms delivery. If the fax fails, you aren't charged. See how it works.
Do I get delivery confirmation?
Yes. The status page shows the result, and we email you when it is delivered or when it fails.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. Several files are combined into one fax.
How long do you keep my documents?
Documents are deleted 48 hours after your fax finishes, or as soon as it is delivered if you choose that setting. We keep the fax number, page count, times and delivery result. More on the status page.
Can I send an international fax?
The US site sends to the US and Canada; the EU site sends to the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, Ukraine and the Isle of Man. Other countries are refused before you pay.
What if my fax fails?
You aren't charged. If you can send it again for free, your card stays held for up to 48 hours. We release the hold if the fax is still undelivered then. Read why your fax failed for each reason and what to do next.
