Send a fax from abroad
You can send a fax from your phone or computer without finding a fax machine in the recipient’s country. Choose the service by the destination fax number.

Find the correct IRS form and its instructions
For US agency paperwork, choose the form or office first. Check the instructions for applicants with a foreign address and arrange the reply channel. The IRS directory is a starting point for its listed forms, not a general fax number for every US agency.
Keep the recipient’s filing rules
Sending from abroad does not change the form, signature, identity or eligibility requirements. Check the recipient’s official instructions, especially if your postal address is abroad. Use the number listed for your procedure.
Arrange a reply before sending
Faxette sends faxes and does not provide an incoming fax number. If the form needs a return fax number, ask the recipient whether email or post is possible. Do not put Faxette’s support number or an invented number on the form.
Keep the application and transmission report
Keep a copy of what you sent and the delivery confirmation. If a deadline matters, check the recipient’s rules and allow time for busy lines or another attempt. A delivery report does not establish that an application was complete or on time.
