How to send an international fax
Use the recipient’s country code and full fax number. Upload your document from your phone or computer, review the price and follow delivery online.

- Confirm the recipient’s current fax number and that they accept your document by fax.
- Start with +, followed by the destination’s country code. The UK is +44; the US and Canada use +1.
- Add the area code and local number. A national dialing prefix may need to be removed. For example, a UK number written as 020 7946 0000 becomes +44 20 7946 0000.
- Check the full number before uploading. The UK number above is an example, not a destination for your document.
In Faxette’s number field, enter + and the country code. Do not add a phone line’s international access prefix, such as 011 or 00, before it.
Keep the leading zero in Italian landline numbers: a Milan number starts with +39 02. If the format is unclear, ask the recipient to confirm the number in international format.

Fax numbers use the same country codes as telephone numbers. Use the regional site listed for the recipient’s country.
